As I was driving downtown to the Nikon Lecture series and I passed the old Honest Eds store. It reminded me of the days when I could walk to it. Seeing the customers bustling around from table to table, bin to bin for the deals that laid within... even remember the days when Honest Ed was giving away free turkeys to payback the community for their generous support.
Gone are those days... now you look at the windows and store front... and all of the graffiti spread all over. I heard that the sign is going to be saved as it is such an iconic piece of toronto's history. I'm sure another condo will be built in its place, maybe it will have some of that old charm. Only time will tell.
